Food Company BT, doing business as Elite Brands (Elite) is a privately held company
founded in 2000. With an initial
vision of providing national food products to US military commissaries, Elite
was launched with one brand, Tropicana. Now, in 2010, Elite is the primary
supplier of over 40 brands and hundreds of products to commissaries and
exchanges around the world. In 2008, Elite finished its year with 41 million in
sales and was recognized as being one of the top 40 suppliers to the
commissaries and exchanges.
